Feeling guilty about all the mindless reality shows you watch? Don’t worry – ITV2‘s newest competition series is filled with history… and butts!
Bromans, a new UK reality show, transports sexy couples back to Roman times for the chance to win £10,000 (over $13,000).
On the show, the bro-y beefcakes and their girlfriends live together in a house and do as the ancient Romans do — which, of course, means parading around completely naked!
Within FIVE minutes of last week’s premiere, the male contestants were forced to strip down and show off their Adonis physiques (you know, for historic purposes) to compete gladiator-style, and Twitter was NOT prepared.
The cheeky first episode caused quite the stir on social media. Classical Professor Dr. Andrew Sillett live tweeted the premiere, calling it somewhat historically accurate and confessing he “10/10 will watch again.”
Though most responders were fixated on the gratuitous display of gladiator buns — tbh, we don’t blame em!
Will you be *educating* yourself by watching Bromans?
